Watch Closely print

I painted an original layer on this art that had many drawings and lots of color. I used my white paint to cover and expose only small vignettes of what was happening underneath. In my art I have often been inspired by the theme of unraveling, uncovering and discovery. So much of our life we can feel a bit like we are stumbling in the dark, or we are living in a mystery of uncertainty. In those times, I have always at least felt a sense of peace that everything would work out. For me, it’s the love of God that has grounded me in that place. You may not be able to see the way ahead with extreme clarity, but you can trust that there will be goodness there. There are always little peeks of beauty and light if you watch for them.
