Grouse Family watercolor

$85.00

We stayed in a beautiful area of Baja California that is considered to be the wine country of Mexico. Outside of our lovely rental property I witnessed a grouse family of parents with at least a dozen babies. They would flitter between the brush, from bush to bush, and I saw them several times while we were there.

This painting is a reminder of small joys you can see in your everyday landscape. The shapes and colors in this piece allow you to take notice and express small beauty.

Original watercolor

5.5 × 8.5

watercolor paint

watercolor paper

black, lime, emerald, sienna, blue, ochre
